The Fairy Glen

A world-renowned geological marvel, the Fairy Glen features a unique landscape of miniature conical hills and hidden lochans. For more info see the isleofskye.com page.

Location: Situated between the villages of Sheader and Balnacnoc.

Parking: Ample parking is available in the main car park and designated roadside bays. Note: Please ensure you purchase a ticket for the full duration of your visit.

Rha Falls

A stunning hidden gem, these "double" waterfalls are a must-see. For more info see this Trip Advisor page.

Parking Tip: There is no parking at the path entrance. Please park at the Community Hall or opposite the Old Police Station (now a private residence).

Uig Community Woodland Walk

Enjoy a gentle, peaceful stroll through the trees. This path connects the Uig Community Hall to Rankin’s Supermarket and offers serene access to the shoreline between the River Rha and River Conon.

The Uig Tower (Captain’s Folly)

While the tower itself is now privately owned and not accessible to the public, it remains a striking landmark. You can capture excellent photos of the "Folly" from the parking bay opposite the Uig Hotel.
